Luther Singh Pens New Deal in Europe

South African winger Luther Singh has been rewarded for fine performances in the colours of Cypriot club, AEL Limassol.

The 28-year-old has signed a new and improved contract, and will remain at the club until 2027.

The latest development in his career comes on the back of his sterling displays last term; playing 33 games, boasting 14 assists and two goals.

He has been at AEL Limassol since July 2024 when he joined from Serbian club, FK Cukaricki.

“The Board of Directors of AEL announces the renewal of its partnership with footballer Luther Singh until May 2027,” said the club in a statement.

“Our continued collaboration reaffirms our common desire for sustained progress and success in the effort to achieve our team’s objectives.

“We wish Luther Singh all the best in his blue and yellow jersey football journey, with health, strength and many team and individual successes.”

Singh has been capped 13 times by South Africa’s senior national team, Bafana Bafana.
