To eradicate poverty has been humanity’s long-held wish since ancient times. China has declared a “complete victory” in the fight against poverty, with all 98.99 million rural residents living below the poverty line lifted out of poverty. How did China achieve such a feat and what contributions has it made to global poverty reduction efforts?
