The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has launched the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025 Diaspora Tour this week.
“This is more than a tour; it is showcasing the spirit of African football. Making triumphant stops in London at Below the Lights, Piccadilly Circus on 28 November and Paris at YOYO in the Palais de Tokyo on 4 December, this tour forges an unbreakable bridge between the continent that creates legends and the diaspora that champions them,” announced CAF.
“It is a powerful celebration of a shared identity, where the rhythm of the continent meets the resonance of its global children. These events are a tribute to the enduring connection that pulses through every match, every cheer, and every goal – honouring not only the iconic African players who have become titans on European soil but also reconsecrate the bond they represent.”
The tour will be headlined by the presence of the TotalEnergies AFCON trophy; more than silverware, it is a beacon of continental pride.
“Its journey to London and Paris is a symbol that the ultimate prize of African football belongs to all Africans across the globe, wherever they may be; from Casablanca to Paris, Lagos to London, and everywhere in between,” added CAF.
“This is where heritage meets legacy, and where the road to Morocco 2025 begins, together.”
