South African defender Siyabonga Ngezana has been named to the Romanian SuperLiga Team of the Season for a second consecutive year.
The 27-year-old played a pivotal role as his team, FCSB, won the league title.
Ngezana is among six players from FCSB who made the starting XI.
Meanwhile, Ngezana has also been named the club’s Defender of the Season.
African Times has previously reported that Italian Serie A side Lecce and English Championship club Birmingham are eyeing Ngezana for a fee believed to be €5 million (R107 million).
If FCSB decides to sell Ngezana, the player’s former team, Kaizer Chiefs, has a 10% sell-on benefit for the defender.
Ngezana’s contract with FCSB runs until June 2027.
