
The South African senior women’s national squad to take on Morocco on 2 December has been announced.
The venue for this clash is yet to be confirmed but the match will be played in Morocco.
Head coach Dr Desiree Ellis has named a 26-woman team as part of her preparations for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) to be held in Morocco from 17 March–3 April 2026.
Banyana Banyana booked their place in the 2026 WAFCON after beating DR Congo 1-0 in a second leg qualifier (2-1 on aggregate) played at the Dobsonville Stadium last month.
The team will assemble in Johannesburg on Monday, 24 November and depart for Morocco on 28 November 2025.
