CAF to Unveil New Champions League Trophy Soon

The Confederation of African Football (CAF), in partnership with TotalEnergies, will unveil a new trophy for the CAF Champions League ahead of the final.

South African club Mamelodi Sundowns will lock horns with Egyptian side Pyramids.

The first leg will be in Pretoria on 24 May, before the return leg in Cairo on 1 June.

“The new trophy will be unveiled on Thursday, 22 May, at the TotalEnergies offices in Johannesburg, South Africa, and will be attended by African football legends and the two participating clubs, Mamelodi Sundowns and Pyramids FC,” CAF confirmed in a statement on Friday.

“The timing of the unveiling adds to the excitement and grandeur surrounding the decider, offering African football fans a glimpse of what will be at stake over the two legs in Tshwane and Cairo over the next two weeks.”
