The Leader of the EFF, Julius Malema, has fired back at US President Donald Trump, telling him that he is not scared of him.
Malema said if Trump was not afraid of him, he should have invited him to last week’s White House meeting with President Cyril Ramaphosa where he became the topic in absentia.
That was when Trump played a video of Malema chanting Kill the Boer and asked why the South African authorities are not arresting him.
Malema’s response to Trump was made on Sunday at Kopies in the Free State where he addressed party supporters ahead of a by-election. He said the EFF will always stand against imperialists.
“The only organisation that is hated by imperialists Is the EFF. I will never be intimidated by America, I will never be intimidated by Donald Trump. They were speaking about me at that meeting at White House.
“If they were not gossiping about me they should have called me into that meeting, I would have answered everything that Donald Trump wanted from us. They are afraid of me, they speak about me in corners,” Malema said.
He added that Trump would never do what he did last week in his presence as he would instantly confront him with facts.
“Ramaphosa could not present the facts in front of Donald Trump, you have got a coward president. He left here saying he won;t be bullied but when he got there he was shaking, fearing Donald Trump, another president scared of another president.”
