Egyptian President Issues Decree To Improve Quality Of Higher Education

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Ayman Ashour held a meeting on Saturday.

During the meeting, the dignitaries discussed improving the quality, efficiency and competitiveness of Egypt’s university education.

The Minister of Higher Education reported on the government’s strategy for technological education and the establishment of technological universities in all governorates.

The president also instructed to continue working on the Egyptian Knowledge Bank initiative, which contributes to improving the international ranking of Egyptian universities, institutes and research centres, as well as developing human capital in the country. President Al-Sisi also supports new initiatives in higher education. This will have a positive impact on enhancing the competitiveness of Egyptian human resources regionally and globally.

The meeting also discussed the development of university hospitals, training programmes and the provision of modern treatment services.
