Ethiopia’s Finance Ministry Appreciates African Development Bank’s Contribution Towards Reforms And Development Projects

Ethiopia’s Finance Minister Ahmed Shide held a consultative meeting with Jonathan Nzayikorera, Executive Director of the African Development Bank (AfDB) in Addis Ababa. This is reported by ENA.

The minister commended the bank for its contribution to the socio-economic development of the country. The minister also highlighted the large-scale investment operations currently underway as well as technical assistance to support reforms in Ethiopia. Ahmed Shide thanked the AfDB for its role in coordinating regional projects.

The Director General of the African Development Bank, for his part, outlined plans to support both the public and private sectors in Ethiopia.

According to the Ministry of Finance, both parties agreed to maintain constant contact to ensure timely dialogue to promote sustainable development in the country.
