Serbian mentor Milutin “Micho” Sredojević has joined ES Sétif as their new Head Coach.

Sredojević, who had two stints with South African club Orlando Pirates, has signed for the Algerian outfit on a contract running until June 2027.

“The management of ES Sétif announces the appointment of Serbian coach Milutin Sredojević as head coach of the first team, at the suggestion of Sporting Director, Azzedine Arab,” confirmed Sétif.

“This appointment comes as part of the management’s efforts to restore technical balance and provide the necessary boost to the squad for the remainder of the season.

“The ES Sétif management confirms its support for the choices made by Sporting Director Azzedine Arab and reiterates its call to the fans to support the team and stand firmly behind it, with the aim of regaining balance and achieving positive results befitting the club’s reputation and the aspirations of its supporters.”

The Serbian tactician is a well-travelled coach having guided Pirates, SC Villa (Uganda), Zamalek (Egypt), St. George (Ethiopia), Young Africans (Tanzania), Al Hilal (Sudan), the Ugandan national team, amongst others.
