Mamedupi Teffo Elected As Limpopo ANCWL Chairperson

Limpopo’s ANC provincial executive committee (PEC) members have congratulated their comrade, Mamedupi Teffo, for being elected provincial chairperson of the ANC Women’s League (ANCWL).

The ANCWL’s elective conference was held in Polokwane on Sunday, where the top five leadership was elected, together with additional members of the executive structure.

The elected top five include Teffo as chairperson, Minah Bahula as deputy chairperson, Tebogo Mamorobela as secretary, Sarah Monyamane as deputy secretary, and Christina Mohale as treasurer.

A list of 20 women were elected as additional members.

“The ANC Limpopo congratulates the newly elected PEC collective for their remarkable efforts. Led by Provincial Chairperson Comrade Mamedupi Teffo and Provincial Secretary Comrade Tebogo Mamorobela, the Women’s League in Limpopo enters a new phase under their guidance,” said ANC provincial secretary Reuben Madadzhe.

Limpopo’s ANC provincial executive committee (PEC) members have congratulated their comrade, Mamedupi Teffo, for being elected provincial chairperson of the ANC Women’s League (ANCWL).

The conference was initially marred with delays attributed to problems with the machine used to print cards for eligible voters and the replacement of unavailable delegates.

Nonetheless, Madadzhe said they were impressed with how the ANCWL delegates conducted themselves.

“The ANC Limpopo expresses its admiration for the highest level of discipline demonstrated during the conference, which bodes well for the ANC’s broader mission of unity and renewal,” said Madadzhe.

“The new leadership is expected to play a pivotal role in driving positive change and addressing critical issues, such as the alarming surge in gender-based violence cases in the province.”
