Maritime Transport Is Key Driver Of Egypt’s Economy

Amr El-Samadouni, Secretary-General of the International Transportation and Logistics Services Division at the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, notes the important role of maritime transport in Egypt’s economic development.

The Egyptian government is actively working with international companies to improve ports and enhance their global ranking. The future of maritime transport until 2030 aims to develop multimodal modes of transport, including seaports, railways and river transport.
