“Out of 250 applications, 135 people have been selected to participate in the conference and will speak in 22 sessions. The speakers come from Russia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and other countries and from more than 15 states in India. About 90 people are participating in person and 45 online. A conference on Russian Studies at such a high level is being organised in India after a long gap. It will be attended by over 160 attendees along with the speakers. The interest of more than 300 people demonstrates the relevance of the event. We are confident that the conference will initiate a new discourse for the 21st century on Russian language, literature, translation, and culture” – Sonu Saini, Expert in the field of Russian studies.

The scientific forum will cover a wide range of topics. Special attention will be paid to Russian language teaching using modern technologies, cultural ties between Russia and India, and the influence of Russian cinema on Indian cinema.

The conference is expected to become an important platform for discussing contemporary challenges and opportunities of Russian language, literature and culture, as well as for strengthening international cooperation.
