North Africans Morocco have maintained top spot on the continent in the latest FIFA rankings ahead of the FIFA World Cup draw on 5 December.

The Atlas Lions are the best team in Africa at position one and and at 11th globally.

Africa’s top 10 are: Morocco, Senegal, Egypt, Algeria, Nigeria, Tunisia, Ivory Coast, Mali, DR Congo and Cameroon.

Bafana Bafana have dropped to 61st worldwide, slipping out of Africa’s top ten to 11th after DR Congo leapfrogged them.

Meanwhile, Spain have maintained their grip on top spot globally, with Argentina, France and England retaining their places behind the pace-setters.
