Durban is bracing for a football spectacle as the Premier Soccer League (PSL) has confirmed Moses Mabhida Stadium as the battleground for the 2026 MTN8 final between Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.

The association announced on Monday that the heavyweight showdown is scheduled for Saturday, 10 October 2026, with the action getting underway at 18h00.

And for supporters eager to witness the two giants go head-to-head, the race for tickets begins on Friday.

General Access tickets will cost R150 and will be sold exclusively online through Open Tickets from 10h00 on Friday, 2 October.

With demand expected to be high, supporters will be restricted to four tickets per person.

PSL says an online queue will be activated when ticket sales open, meaning fans could have to wait virtually before reaching the purchasing page.

PSL also said once tickets are placed in a cart, buyers will have just 10 minutes to complete payment before the transaction expires.

The supporters have been reminded that successful buyers will receive confirmation of their purchases by email.

The PSL has urged supporters to prepare before sales open by ensuring they have a valid banking card and sufficient funds available.

Importantly, every spectator, including children, must have a valid ticket to enter the stadium.

Supporters have also been warned against falling victim to ticket scams, with the PSL advising fans to purchase tickets only through the official Open Tickets platform and avoid unauthorised sellers.
