Orlando Pirates Raises Eyebrows in Transfer Space

Soweto club Orlando Pirates are certainly one to watch in the transfer market ahead of next season.

For football fans, especially those in Bucs’s corner, will do well to keep a close eye on the Buccaneers.

African Times can confirm Pirates have signed winger Kabelo Kgositsile (20) and right-back Tshepo Mashiloane (23) from Limpopo club Baroka, as also reported by UNPLAYABLE.

This publication has been informed that Kgositsile is likely to return to Baroka on loan for the 2025/26 season.

The 2024 MTN8 champions have also roped in midfielder Masindi Nemtajela (23) from Marumo Gallants, who has lived up to his second name, Confidence, this season with some fine runs.

Pirates are far from being done.

Chippa United midfielder Sinoxolo Kwayiba (25) and Richards Bay left-back Nkosikhona Ndaba (22) will also be making their way to Pirates.

Other players linked to the club include Sihle Nduli from Stellenbosch FC, Velemseni Ndwandwe of Golden Arrows, Cape Town City’s Jaedin Rhodes, and Thibang Phete, who plies his trade for top-flight Icelandic club IF Vestri.

Meanwhile, striker Evidence Makgopa has signed a new three-year deal with Pirates, but midfielder Miguel Timm is heading to the exit after three years at the club.

Pirates are expected to announce lots of changes, including a new head coach, in the coming weeks.
