French team Paris Saint-Germain are now just one win away from a quadruple of trophies, having won the Ligue 1 title, Coupe de France, and UEFA Champions League this season.
Luis Enrique’s men have set up a mouthwatering FIFA Club World Cup 2025 final with English outfit Chelsea after putting on a masterclass against Real Madrid on Wednesday evening.
PSG ran out 4-0 winners against a hapless Real Madrid that had no answers to PSG’s relentless attacks at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, USA.
Fabian Ruiz netted twice, and Ousmane Dembele was also on the scoresheet as PSG raced to a 3-0 lead inside the first 25 minutes before Goncalo Ramos added a fourth three minutes from time.
And now for the final, which will take place at the MetLife Stadium on Sunday, 13 July. Kickoff has been scheduled for 21H00 South African time.
The champions will earn $40 million (R711 million), with the runners-up taking home $30 million (R534 million).
“We have one more step against a very good team like Chelsea. Now it’s time to prepare. We want to make history for our club,” said PSG coach Enrique.
