South African wing-back Gift Links has signed a new four-year contract with Danish club AGF Aarhus.
The 26-year-old has played over 170 games since he joined AGF from Cape Town City in 2019.
“Gift Links extends his association with AGF Aarhus by another (four) years, until the summer of 2029,” confirmed AGF.
“Links joined the club in 2019, and since his debut on September 15 of that year, he has played 172 games and scored 13 goals for AGF. The South African winger has developed into a key player in the starting 11 and is a popular figure in Aarhus, not least among the supporters. Now the city and the club can look forward to keeping Gift Links until 2029.”
AGF football director Carsten V. Jensen is delighted to keep Links at the club.
“Gift is a very important player for AGF, but not least in recent years he has developed into a completely central figure in the squad and in the club also off the field. And because of his human qualities, the city and the club have embraced him. I am very pleased that we can extend the agreement with Gift until 2029,” added Jensen.
