Bafana Bafana defender Siyabonga Ngezana has won another cup in Romania.

Ngezana, who plays for FCSB, starred for the team as they beat CFR Cluj 2-1 on Saturday to win the Romanian Super Cup.

The former Kaizer Chiefs center-back has now won two league titles with FCSB. The first came in his debut season, the 2023/24 campaign, and then in 2024/25.

FCSB has also gone on to win the 2024 and 2025 Super Cups, adding to Ngezana’s collection.

As things stand, he will stay at the club for the 2025/26 season.

Ngezana, however, has attracted interest from Italian Serie A side Lecce and English Championship club Birmingham.

The Sebokeng-born footballer’s value has skyrocketed, as per TransferMarkt.

Ngezana has moved up to second place on the MVP list of South African players with a new value of €6M (R124M).

He left Kaizer Chiefs for FCSB in 2023 for a €600K (R12.4M) transfer fee, and Amakhosi inserted a 10% sell-on clause in the deal.
