Mamelodi Sundowns will look to break Egyptian hearts again in this year’s CAF Champions League final.
The 2016 champions have reached their third final in history after knocking out Egyptian powerhouse Al Ahly in Cairo on Friday, in front of 75,000 home supporters.
Sundowns booked their spot by fighting back from one goal down to draw 1-1 with Al Ahly at Cairo International Stadium on Friday. Sundowns were on the verge of an exit before Al Ahly defender Yasser Ibrahim netted an own goal right at the death.
The Brazilians went through on the away goals rule after a goalless draw in the first leg in Pretoria a week ago.

In the decider, Sundowns will be up against another Egyptian side, Pyramids.
Pyramids put paid to dreams of an all-South African final by eliminating Orlando Pirates. They won 3-2 against the Buccaneers in a match played at the 30 June Stadium, also in Cairo.
While Sundowns are in their third final, Pyramids will be making their first appearance in the decider.
Sundowns will host the first leg at a venue still to be decided on Saturday, 24 May, and Pyramids will be home in the return leg on Sunday, 1 June.
The Tshwane club has been battling North African opposition in their attempts to dominate Africa.
In 2001, they lost the final 4-1 on aggregate to Al Ahly but redeemed themselves in 2016 by winning the tournament, defeating Zamalek 3-1 on aggregate.
The CAF Champions League winners will pocket USD 4,000,000 (R74 million), while the runners-up take home USD 2,000,000 (R37 million).
