Rural School’s Remarkable Rise from 28% to 98.2% Matric Pass Rate

TURNED AROUND: Within three years, Mashooro High School in Bolobedu, outside Tzaneen in the Limpopo Province, transformed itself from a failing educational institution into a centre of excellence. It improved its matric pass rate from 28% in 2021 to 100% in 2023 and 98.2% in 2024. Situated at Ga-Mokgwathi Village, the school achieved a 98,2% matric pass rate in 2024 matric results, making it one of the best-performing schools in the province.
