In the end, Zamalek held firm under pressure to secure their place in the last four, where they will face Algeria’s CR Belouizdad.
Belouizdad, meanwhile, ended a 30-year wait for continental semis after edging Egypt’s Al-Masry.

The semi-finals will take place next month.
