Egyptian team Al Ahly is leaving no stone unturned ahead of Friday’s clash against Mamelodi Sundowns.

Following a goalless draw in Pretoria, the two sides will meet in the second leg in Cairo for a place in the final of the CAF Champions League.

Al Ahly, the 12-time winners of this competition, will reward each player with a bonus of EGP 500,000 (R182,000) should they beat Sundowns to reach the decider.

The reigning champions have also decided that players will each receive EGP 1.7 million (R622,000) if they retain their title.

The CAF Champions League winners will pocket USD 4,000,000 (R74 million), while the runners-up take home USD 2,000,000 (R37 million).

Meanwhile, the referee for this clash will be Dahane Beida from Mauritania, who’s undoubtedly one of the continent’s best referees.
