Betway Premiership side AmaZulu has decided not to fix what’s not broken regarding their technical team.
Currently sixth in league standings, Usuthu are poised for a top-eight finish, which will mark an improvement on last season’s 11th-place finish.
At the helm is Arthur “10111” Zwane, who has done enough as head coach to earn a contract extension beyond the current season.
“I can confirm that Arthur Zwane is going to be with AmaZulu beyond this season,” confirmed AmaZulu boss Sandile Zungu.
“That decision has been taken. We believe he’s done an awesome job in giving character to the team. We think he needs to be rewarded with greater loyalty by us as a team as well, and that decision has been communicated not only to him but to the players and the rest of the technical team.”
Zungu added, “Arthur Zwane is part of AmaZulu Football Club beyond the end of this season. That’s a fact, and we are very pleased with his good work.”
The former Kaizer Chiefs coach joined the KwaZulu-Natal club in October 2024 as co-coach alongside Vusumuzi Vilakazi, who resigned in February, citing personal reasons.
