Deputy Minister of Police Dr Polly Boshielo has taken a swipe at controversial social media personality Nkgodisheng Paul Madubanya, popularly known as Tsaka RSA, over his unruly behaviour online, saying his alleged disrespect towards police officers has caught up with him following his arrest.
Boshielo made the remarks on Tuesday while addressing communities during the launch of the newly built Bakenberg and Villa Nora police stations in the Waterberg District, alongside National Police Commissioner General Fannie Masemola and newly appointed Limpopo Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant General Jan Petrus Scheepers.
The two stations were officially opened on Tuesday, 21 October 2026, as part of efforts to improve access to policing services in rural communities and strengthen crime-fighting initiatives ahead of the festive season.
Taking aim at Tsaka RSA, 29, Boshielo recalled how she had repeatedly warned him about his conduct on social media, including posts in which he allegedly displayed stacks of money while making disparaging remarks about police officers.
“I called him to order repeatedly when he took pictures of himself next to a stash of money, saying police are not fresh. Today, he himself is not fresh,” Boshielo said.
The deputy minister revealed that she had even asked Scheepers to allow her to visit Tsaka RSA in custody to see how he was coping behind bars.
“I told General Scheepers that I wanted to pass by and greet Tsaka, and say, ‘Tsaka, how does it feel being in prison?’ I saw him when he appeared in court the other day; he is so worn out,” she said.
Boshielo did not mince her words when addressing what she described as Tsaka RSA’s disrespectful conduct towards law enforcement officers, warning that unlawful actions against police would not be tolerated.
“That boy was so rude. He insulted even the police. When you insult the police, we are there watching you. They will arrest you. The police represent the State, and any action against them, unlawfully so, would be dealt with,” she said.
She further warned social media users that their online activities could attract the attention of law enforcement agencies.
“So, these things that you post on social media, you must know the South Africa Police Service has a unit that checks what you say about the government and other people,” Boshielo said.
She also referred to the arrests of Tsaka RSA and another Lekompo musician, Lehlogonolo Chauke, known as Shebeshext, saying the police would not allow individuals to derail the work of the ministry.
“We won’t be derailed and allow our time to be wasted by people who are not willing to progress. We need you to help us as the ministry of the police,” she added.
The deputy minister’s remarks came as police leadership engaged communities in the Waterberg District on crime prevention and improved service delivery.
The newly opened Bakenberg and Villa Nora police stations feature victim-friendly facilities intended to provide survivors of domestic violence, sexual offences and gender-based violence with private and dignified spaces to report cases.
The opening ceremonies also included a Ministerial Crime Prevention Community Imbizo, bringing together police leadership, traditional leaders, Community Policing Forums and residents to discuss ways to combat crime.

Tsaka RSA Faces Charges In Four Courts
On Monday, 19 October 2026, the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) added charges of statutory rape and failure to safely store a firearm to the case against Madubanya. He already faced charges of unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.
It is alleged that on 9 October 2026, members of the South African Police Service acted on information that Madubanya had an unlicensed firearm.
Police proceeded to his residence in Rethabile Gardens, where they allegedly found an unlicensed firearm and ammunition. He was subsequently arrested.
The statutory rape charge relates to allegations that Madubanya engaged in sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old child. Further details are withheld to protect the child’s identity.
Madubanya’s bail application in the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court has been postponed to 27 October 2026.
However, he is expected to appear on Friday before the Lebowakgomo Magistrate’s Court for a bail application in a separate crimen injuria case linked to alleged insulting remarks against an unknown DJ. He remains in custody.
