Chelsea will await either Real Madrid or Paris Saint-Germain for a FIFA Club World Cup final showdown.

The English outfit booked their spot in the decider with a 2-0 win over Brazilian side Fluminense on Tuesday evening at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, USA.

And it was Fluminense’s former player Joao Pedro who did the damage, netting a brace against his home country team.

The Blues’ newest addition, who came through the Fluminense youth system, ended the Brazilians’ hopes with outstanding goals in each half.

“I think it was a dream. I don’t think it could have been better,” commented Joao Pedro post-match.

“I am happy to score my first goals for Chelsea, but also I know this tournament is very important for Fluminense. I can just say sorry, but I have to be professional. I play for Chelsea, and they pay me to score goals.”

Chelsea’s victory sets up an all-European decider.

Real will meet PSG on Wednesday evening, and the winner will take in Chelsea on Sunday, 13 July.
