Jurgen Klopp’s agent has poured cold water over claims that the German could be returning to the dugout with Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Klopp, 57, has been the subject of intense speculation, with many reports linking him to Real Madrid and the Brazilian national team.

“I understand that there have been continued inquiries about Klopp from Europe’s top clubs and some federations,” stated Marc Kosicke to Sky Sports, in no uncertain terms.

“However, he has no intention of taking over as head coach next season. Not even at Real Madrid or with the Brazilian national team. Jurgen is happy in his role as global director of Red Bull and has a (five-year) contract, so there’s nothing more to say.”

Klopp departed from Liverpool in 2024 and took up a role as the Head of Global Soccer with the Red Bull Group.

Real Madrid are thought to be on the lookout for their next manager, with Carlo Ancelotti set to depart from the Bernabéu.
