Thembinkosi Lorch and Neo Maema have played their last games for Mamelodi Sundowns, with the club announcing their exits.
The Tshwane club has announced their departure, starting with Lorch.
“After two unforgettable years, one league title, 26 appearances, seven goals, and four assists, the Yellow Nation thanks and celebrates Thembinkosi Lorch,” stated the club.
African Times reported this week that Lorch will be joining Moroccan club Wydad Casablanca on a permanent deal.
Meanwhile, Maema’s time at Chloorkop is also up, and he departs the club after four years.
“After four incredible years, four league titles, one Nedbank Cup, one MTN8, one African Football League title, 120 appearances, 13 goals, and 14 assists, the Yellow Nation bids farewell to Neo Maema.”
Maema is currently in Uganda captaining Bafana Bafana in the African Nations Championship (CHAN).
He has been linked with Tanzanian club Simba, and a decision is expected when he returns from East Africa.
Sundowns have also loaned out Argentine midfielder Matias Esquivel to Greek club Kifisia.
