Major Soccer League (MLS) side Chicago Fire has landed the signature of another South African footballer, Puso Dithejane.
The latest development comes on the back of Chicago Fire signing Bafana Bafana defender Mbekezeli Mbokazi from Orlando Pirates.
Dithejane, 21, moves on from the Rockets after TS Galaxy rejected an offer from Mamelodi Sundowns, opting instead to do business with Chicago Fire.
The former Kaizer Chiefs development player was a subject of strong interest from various teams, including Chiefs.
Chicago Fire are yet to officially confirm the signing but African Times has established the deal has been completed, while the official announcement is expected in the next day or two.
Mbokazi would be pleased to have alongside him Dithejane, in an unfamiliar territory for both players, as they begin their football journey overseas.
