The Tech Science Forum (TSF) with the participation of BRICS countries will be held at the Lomonosov Innovation Cluster in Moscow from 5 to 6 October this year. The event will serve as a platform for cooperation among representatives of the interstate group in the fields of science, technology, education, and innovation. TV BRICS is the international media partner for the event.

More than 3,000 participants from 10 countries are expected to attend, including delegations from government bodies, universities, research institutes, the business community, young scientists and students. In particular, representatives of MGIMO University of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Harbin Institute of Technology (China) and the University of Johannesburg (South Africa) will meet in Moscow.

The business programme will bring together 40 thematic tracks and 20 discussion platforms. In the exhibition area, more than 100 exhibitors will present the achievements of BRICS countries in technology, science and space.

“Today education is becoming one of the key areas of international cooperation. In a rapidly changing world, it is especially important to unite the efforts of universities, research centres and countries to exchange experience and best practices. The Tech Science Forum (TSF) creates a platform where an open dialogue is formed between states, researchers and young professionals. We are convinced that only through joint work and the exchange of knowledge can a sustainable educational platform be built that will serve our common future,” said Kristina Polonskaya, CEO of the Tech Science Forum.

The main goal of the forum is to establish long-term international partnerships between government institutions, the scientific community, businesses and young people from BRICS countries by strengthening Russia’s role in the global scientific and technological agenda, developing joint research, exchanging experience and promoting innovative solutions aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, as well as attracting investment in innovative and educational initiatives.

TSF will become an interactive space combining science, education and creativity. Schoolchildren, students, young researchers and experts will be able to work together on current challenges – from artificial intelligence and green technologies to biodiversity conservation and digital sovereignty – through unique educational and cultural initiatives, including a simulation of a meeting of the BRICS Youth Council and the festival “BRICS: The Language of Science and Fairy Tales”. In addition, the forum will host the presentation of the international award “BRICS+ Women in Science and Technology”, recognising the contribution of women researchers from BRICS countries to scientific and technological progress.

Throughout the summer, every Saturday a special educational and entertainment programme organised by the Tech Science Forum – “TSF Impulse” – will be held for children under the age of 12 at the Dream Island venue by the government of Moscow.
