Football supporters can now secure their seats for the highly anticipated 2026 MTN8 semi-final clashes, with tickets officially on sale ahead of this weekend’s fixtures.
The Premier Soccer League (PSL) confirmed on Tuesday that tickets for both semi-final ties are available at R100 each, giving fans the opportunity to watch some of South Africa’s top clubs battle for a place in the MTN8 final.
Tickets are available at Open Tickets outlets nationwide, including Shoprite, Checkers and Usave stores. Supporters can also purchase their tickets online through Open Tickets.
The defending champions, Orlando Pirates, will be among the biggest attractions when they travel to Polokwane to face Sekhukhune United in the first leg at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday, 22 August. Kick-off is scheduled for 15:00.
The Buccaneers are chasing an unprecedented fifth consecutive MTN8 title after winning the tournament in each of the last four editions.
Their opponents, Sekhukhune United, will be hoping for strong home support as they look to take an advantage into the second leg. Babina Noko booked their place in the semi-finals after a dramatic 4-3 extra-time victory over AmaZulu.
The return leg between Pirates and Sekhukhune will be played at the Orlando Amstel Arena on Saturday, 29 August, at 15:00.

The second semi-final will see African champions Mamelodi Sundowns host Abafana Bes’thende Lamontville Golden Arrows at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Sunday at 15:00.
The return leg is scheduled for Sunday, 30 August, at King Zwelithini Stadium.
Sundowns reached the last four after defeating Polokwane City 3-2 after extra time, while Golden Arrows caused one of the quarter-final upsets by beating Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 at FNB Stadium.
With Pirates and Sundowns kept apart in the semi-final draw, supporters could be treated to another heavyweight MTN8 final if both sides successfully negotiate their respective semi-final ties.
For now, the PSL is urging fans who want to attend the matches to secure their tickets early.
“Tickets are available at Open Tickets outlets nationwide, including Shoprite, Checkers and USave stores, at a cost of R100 each,” the PSL confirmed.
