Bafana Bafana defender Siyabonga Ngezana is enjoying a great run in Romania.
For the second season running, the former Kaizer Chiefs center-back has won the SuperLiga with FCSB.
The 27-year-old featured in 16 matches during the regular season before playing six matches in the championship round, which is yet to complete.
FCSB was confirmed as the 2024/25 champions on Saturday after CFR Cluj dropped points, leaving FCSB with an unassailable lead at the top.
Last season played out in similar fashion, with FCSB pipping CFR Cluj to the title.
Formed in 1947, FCSB is the most decorated club in Romania, with 28 league titles to their name, and they dominate cup competitions too.
Ngezana may not be around the club much longer, however.
African Times reported recently that Italian Serie A side Lecce and English Championship club Birmingham are eyeing Ngezana for a fee believed to be €5 million (R107 million).
