“We are doing everything we can to bring them home,” says SAPS Commissioner.

The South African Police Service (SAPS) has appealed to the public for help in locating three missing police constables who disappeared earlier this week.
The three officers—24-year-old Constable Linda Cebekhulu, 30-year-old Constable Keamogetswe Buys, and 20-year-old Constable Boipelo Senoge—were last seen on Wednesday, 23 April 2025.
In a statement, police said the trio were travelling in a white VW Polo sedan (registration number JCL 401 FS) from Bloemfontein to Limpopo, where they were due to report for duty. Their last known location was at the Engen garage near the Grasmere toll plaza on the N1 highway.
“The trio were off duty at the time and never arrived at their area of deployment,” said SAPS National Commissioner, General Fannie Masemola. “We are deeply concerned for their safety and are calling on anyone who may have seen them or knows anything to come forward.”

According to the SAPS, both the vehicle’s tracking device and the constables’ cellphones have been offline since the day of their disappearance. This has raised fears that they may have been victims of a hijacking or kidnapping.

In response, SAPS has set up a 24-hour Venue Operational Centre (VOC) and deployed a high-level team of detectives and crime intelligence officers from both Gauteng and the Free State to lead the search.
“We are doing everything we can to bring them home safely,” added General Masemola.
Police have urged anyone with information is urged to contact the investigating officer, Captain Chaacha Manga, at 082 527 6099.
The police said their investigation is ongoing.
