The Premier Soccer League reigning champions, Mamelodi Sundowns, have pulled off a major coup at the start of the January transfer window.
In a surprising move, the Brazilians have welcomed winger Monnapule Saleng to Chloorkop, joining from rivals Orlando Pirates.

The move shook the football fraternity, considering Saleng was on loan at Orbit College and was expected to see out the season with the North West team.
Before his loan move, the 27-year-old was unsettled at Pirates, leading to his exit to Orbit.
Saleng contributed 25 goals and 17 assists in 70 matches for the Buccaneers before his switch to Orbit.
The Sundowns faithful would be hoping he hits the ground running as they battle Pirates for the league title.
Pirates top the log with 28 points from 12 matches, while Sundowns are second with 26 points from 13 outings.
