Woman Last Seen Boarding E-Hailing Vehicle Found Dead

FEAR stalks the streets commuters of Polokwane city after a 54-year-old woman, Molebogeng Ramoroka of SaralaViev, last seen getting into an e-hailing vehicle on Saturday last week was found murdered covered with ceiling boards and plastic material near the Mokopane town yesterday.

Her lifeless body was discovered by passersby under a tree near the R101 road and was positively identified by her next of kin as Molebogeng Ramoroka of SaralaView in Polokwane.

Spokesperson for the Limpopo SAPS, Brigadier Hlulani Mashaba said the deceased, Ramoroka was last seen by her family members on the 23 of August 2025 at about 12:45, when she was being picked up from her home by an e-hailing vehicle.

Mashaba said when the police arrived on the scene, they found her lifeless body under a tree, covered with ceiling boards and plastic material. She said the deceased had multiple open wounds all over her body.

“Mokopane Police are appealing to members of the public to assist with any information that may help to trace and apprehend the suspect(s) responsible for her brutal death,” she said.

“Information can be directed to Investigating Officer Sergeant Precious Monyai on 082 565 8277, Lieutenant Colonel Noleen Smith on 082 451 7213, the Crime Stop number 08600 10111, their nearest police station, or by using the MySAPS App,” said Brig Mashaba.
