Nigeria is set to inaugurate a new 6,000-metric-ton lithium processing plant in Nasarawa State, according to Governor Abdullahi Sule. This is reported by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), a partner of TV BRICS.

The project, financed by Chinese investors, represents the second such facility in the region and is double the size of the 3,000-metric-ton plant opened in 2023.

Four-time boxing world champion Ricky Hatton has died aged 46.

The British boxing great was reportedly found unresponsive in his Hyde, Greater Manchester, home on Sunday.

The Greater Manchester Police (GMP) confirmed a body had been found.

“Officers were called by a member of the public to attend Bowlacre Road, Hyde, Tameside, at 6:45am today, where they found the body of a 46-year-old man. There are not currently believed to be any suspicious circumstances.”
