Opposition Leader Mundubile Claims Victory
Lusaka – NRPUP presidential candidate Brian Mundubile has claimed victory in Zambia’s presidential election, saying results from his party’s Parallel Voter Tabulation (PVT) show him leading the race.
In a video shared on 14 August, Mundubile said his party had compiled results from polling stations and tallying centres across the country and was confident of victory.
“The people of Zambia voted. Their decision must be respected,” Mundubile said in a video shared widely on social media.
